The over-the-top Miss'd America Pageant returns to Atlantic City, N.J., Saturday, Sept. 21.

Started in 1991, the pageant is a hilarious spoof of the world-famous Miss America Pageant as drag queens strut their stuff down the runway to be judged in the categories of swimsuit, talent, evening gown and the judges' interview. Along with the crown, the 2013 Miss'd America winner will receive cash and prizes, and will make multiple appearances throughout her reigning year. Sabel Scities, Miss'd America 2012, will crown the winner and give a farewell performance.

Michelle Visage, from RuPaul's Drag Race, will serve as this year's celebrity host with special music guest CeCe Peniston. The Melanie Rice Orchestra will provide live music for the event. Mark Dahl, manager of LGBT nightlife for Resorts Casino will serve as writer and director of the pageant.

The pageant is being held at the House of Blues at Showboat Casino, part of Caesars Entertainment, which is supporting the pageant along with the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance and Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation. The Pro Bar at Resorts Casino will host a pre-party Friday, Sept. 20.

Since its inception, the Miss'd America Pageant has raised more than $200,000 for various charities.
