The incomparable Dee Dee Bridgewater has won a Tony Award (The Wiz), Grammy awards, and France’s Victoire de la Musique, among others. In “Lady Day: A Tribute to Billie Holiday,” Bridgewater incarnates the legendary Holiday, recreating Lady Day’s take on such classics as “God Bless the Child,” “Lady Sings the Blues,” “All of Me,” “When You’re Smiling,” “I Can’t Get Started” and more.
