The Crystal committee consists of individuals who take great interest in D.C. Black Pride. These members offer financial support without remuneration. They contribute solely for the pleasure of ensuring that each year’s events surpass the quality of the previous year. Thanks to all of them!

We Still Need Your Support!
D.C. Black Pride is changing its focus and direction from one weekend-long celebration to events that will take place throughout the year, with specific emphasis on HIV prevention and education, community involvement, and social activities. We need your help to achieve this goal.
The Black Lesbian and Gay Pride Day, Inc. (BLGPD) would like to invite you to become a member of the Crystal Committee. Members of the Crystal Committee have the unique opportunity to support their local community in a very meaningful way and receive recognition of their support.
The African-American LGBT community is once again at a crossroads. We must work together to address the increase of HIV/AIDS infection within our community, especially with our youth between the ages of 16 to 24 years old. D.C. Black Pride has become the event that brings the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community together for a weekend of celebration. D.C. Black Pride has grown from its humble beginnings as a one-day event to become the catalyst for establishing over 36 Black Prides in the world.
Crystal Committee members are asked to contribute a gift of $300.00. You may also select another amount listed below:
( ) $50.00 ( ) $100.00 ( ) $150.00 ( ) $200.00 ( ) Other $______
Your gift will assist with our annual operating budget. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
