Vicky Murphy, Director of Development at Casa Pacifica, speaking about , Lawrence King, an openly-gay, 15-year-old boy who was shot in the head at school this past February by a 14-year-old classmate, Brandon McInerney. Larry King is reported to have lived for several months at Casa Pacifica, a home for abused and neglected children. Brandon McInerney is being charged as an adult in the murder and hate crime, for which he could spend life in jail, and this report says their town is divided over that decision.
