Lesbians sentenced to month in jail for kissing on Dubai beach

Two ”witnesses” who turned in two women to police for kissing and being affectionate on Al Mamzar beach in the small but wealthy Arab nation of Dubai that has become a travel destination akin to being “Las Vegas of the Middle East.” The couple is to be jailed for 30 days and then deported for performing ”indecent acts in public” as defined by the Islamic laws that govern their culture.
