Campbell’s ads in The Advocate have conservatives boiling mad

”We support all types of families, regardless of how they’re defined, [and have done so] for more than 100 years. We advertise in a variety of different media outlets that appeal to a broad spectrum of society. That’s what we’re doing here, and that’s what we’ll continue to do.”

Anthony Sanzio, said to be a Campbell’s Soup spokesperson, as quoted by the American Family Association’s news site in response to that anti-gay organization’s objections to four ads placed by Campbell’s in ”The Advocate” for Swanson’s broth. AFA is complaining that the ads, one of which features two women and a child, “normalilze” and “support” gay parents.
