Gay singer Boy George returns with some humility & “Amazing Grace” [video]

”You get a lot of time to think when you’re in prison…. I made lots of friends, you know. I’ve got lots of friends that are out now that I’m still friendly with… people that were, for me, a kind of real saving grace when I was locked up…. So, yeah. There’s been some positive things that came out of it. And I got to kind ‘rest’ for 4 months…. Kind of ‘surrender’ is the key thing. You know, because I have a total loathing of authority, so going to prison was a real challenge for me.”

”To me, the best bit of the whole [Lady Gaga] gig was she just sits at the piano…. I think she’s worked hard, and I think she is talented…. I haven’t been around that kind of [entourage] circus in years, so, it was quite — sort of, ‘Oh, my God!’ You know, I’ve been that woman. It was kind of interesting from the outside looking in. She was very sweet. She asked me to sign her vagina. I didn’t have a pen, so I just did her hat instead…. I don’t know about that ‘[Telephone’] video. I was just a bit confused by the end of it…. Some great looks in it. It’s really just an exercise in camp…. I actually tweeted, ‘Prison’s exactly like this.”’
