Lori Peterson, attorney for Sean Lathrop, 27, who was a police officer for St. Cloud, MN for more than three years, but says he quit because of harassment from fellow officers who found out he was gay. Apparently, the police department of Minneapolis, MN asked the St Cloud department if Lathrop could do community outreach during a Gay Pride event. SCTimes reports that Lathrop is seeking $150,000 in punitive and compensatory damages. (Star Tribune) (SCTimes)
