The Next Reflex Dance Collective at Dance Place
“Electro Shutdown & The Pea” is a dance piece set within a nightclub and begins upon your arrival. Entering the theater, you will find the familiar Dance Place stage transformed into a D.C. nightclub called “The Pea.” The Next Reflex Dance Collective‘s dancers represent an array of clubgoers and play out various nightclub scenarios, from the funny and absurd to the romantic and frenetic. The big question is: Will there be flaggers? The evening closes with a live musical performance by Electro Shutdown and an open dance floor, where you can show off your own moves.
