“Confused” NOM supporter in Indianapolis avoids his own gay “temptations” [video]

”If homosexuality was punished like it was supposed to be, there wouldn’t be so much homosexuality out here…. It’s a choice….”
[Have you ever had that temptation?]
“Oh, yeah. Yeah. I knew it was from the devil so I avoided it…. I was all confused myself until I was about 40 years old. And started reading the bible. Someone told me about reading the bible. I started reading. Now I know what’s right and what’s wrong. You’ve got to know what’s right and what’s wrong. And the bible says what’s right and what’s wrong. If the bible says it, then I believe it.”
An elderly man calling himself Larry Adams who was protestesting against same-sex marriage at a recent rally held by the National Organization for Marriage. In a video, he carries a sign reading “Sodom, Gommorah, America — 3 of a kind.” He apparently also brought a sign with a drawing of two yellow nooses on it, that read “The Solution to Gay Marriage.” Some viewers of the video say they felt pity for Adams who seems to be overcompensating for deep-seated feelings of discomfort over his own same-sex desires. The blog that is tracking NOM’s political tour bus says it is “A Project of the Courage Campaign Institute,” and includes a rally in Annapolis, MD, where a police officer prevented a videographer from documenting the anti-gay speech being made on the State Capital’s grounds.
