”I’m a little dumbfounded, quite honestly, by why she hasn’t had us on…. I can get on conservative talk radio and it has been very good at getting us on the air…. I thought we’d be a natural for the [Rachel Maddow’s] show, but nothing.”
R. Clarke Cooper, the Executive Director for the national gay rights group Log Cabin Republicans, speaking with Mediaite about his attempts to speak on the Rachel Maddow show. Cooper did appear on MSNBC‘s “Hardball” program to discuss the LCR lawsuit against “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and Maddow did cover the case and mentioned briefly on her show that the case was brought forward by the Log Cabin Republicans.
