Out for Work, which is holding its national conference this weekend in Washington, hosts a special reception tonight, Sept. 25, with the fabulously stylish Tim Gunn at MOVA Lounge at 1435 P St. NW, from 8 to 10 p.m. Gunn will sign copies of his latest book, mingle with the crowd, and even leap behind the bar to mix a few drinks. Ask Tim for the “Gunning for You Special,” a concoction apparently comprised of 1 part vodka, 2 parts scotch, 3 parts gin and 4 parts grenadine topped off by a splash of panache and one of those adorable little umbrellas. Or try the “Make It Work,” which comes complete with a needle and thread. You must be over 21 to attend. Tickets are $25 at the door and support Out for Work.
