To honor the holiday, we present a special Thanksgiving edition of Outspoken. It was filmed on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at Food & Friends as the organization, which provides nutritious meals to those suffering from HIV/AIDS and other illnesses, prepared hundreds of holiday meals to be distributed to its clients on Thanksgiving Day. Host Ebone Bell asked volunteers and staff about the meaning of volunteerism, what they’re thankful for this season, and what’s their favorite Thanksgiving food.
