Fantasia Barrino’s Back to Me Tour returns this third-season American Idol winner to D.C. a year after she appeared at the Kennedy Center as Celie in The Color Purple. Of course, it’s also her return to the stage — and her first headlining tour — since she attempted suicide last summer, which she denies was a publicity stunt. She’s touring in support of her third studio album, which has generated even less publicity on its own than her first two. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at 7:30 p.m. D.A.R. Constitution Hall, 1776 D St. NW.
