Gay NYC couple flooded with mail meant for Santa; touched by kids’ letters [video]

”Over the past month, we’ve received hundreds of letters addressed to Santa Claus…. As it’s  progressed, I’ve cared about that less and less, and been more like, ‘Okay, um, Is there an expectation here? What do we need to do? … It’s more emotional than I think I thought it would be. Even when they’re not sad, it’s like the expectation in them, the anticipation in them makes me a little sad.”

Dylan, a resident of Chelsea in NYC, who has received a deluge of letters addressed to Santa Claus. He and his partner Jim tell the New York Times here that they imagine it’s all a mistake, but have opted to take on the challenge of responding to many of the letters from kids. (NYTimes)
