Gay-obsessed NOM wants to ruin your rainbow
”We are the real rainbow coalition. The gay lobby does not own the rainbow…. We can’t simply let that go by. I mean, families put rainbows in their children’s nursuries. Little Christian pre-schools will have rainbows and Noah’s ark, and all the animals sitting out there and everything. Those are great Christian symbols, great Jewish symbols.”
Jennifer Roback Morse who promotes an obscure setup called The Ruth Institute. Here she speaks with OneNewsNow, a conservative religious “news” site. They report that Morse believes that rainbows are “God’s covenant with man.” (One News Now)
Morse and her Ruth Institute appear to be an off-shoot of the National Organization for Marriage. Both entities engage in self-referencing press releases and praise for each other’s “efforts to educate the public.” Their arguments boil down to a list of reasons why they hate the idea that gay people deserve equal marriage rights, benefits, and protections. To borrow from President Brian Brown‘s anti-gay marriage argument, it’s “religious bigotry, pure and simple.” Morse even peddels clothing on her site for babies that is emblazoned with the repugnant, gay-excluding slogan: “I Believe In Natural Marriage.”
