Johnny Weir tells Howard Stern about gay sex life, why he ignores insults

In this interview he talks about receiving criticism for not conforming to expectations by being too “flamboyant” and training with Russians. He says he has to cutting back on food during training, in part, to look appealing for the contest. Weir says he is not super-wealthy and hasn’t had sponsorships probably because he is gay; but adds that, in general, the money made through figure skating is not nearly what it once was (which feeds into the criticism of his popularity).
He does tell Stern that he knew he was gay when he was 6 years old, and he desperately wanted to be Julia Roberts when watching ”Pretty Woman” as a kid. Stern, of course, asks him blatantly about his sex life, to which Weir does eventually respond that he is generally a bottom, and describes the size of manhood. He also talks about his intimate experiences with girlfriends and why he’d marry a woman friend.
Weir also discussed his dance song ”Dirty Love” which he says is a #1 hit in Japan. And he also discusses his criticism of the skaters on “Dancing with the Stars.” He agrees that he was “not nice.”
