More details on gay teen’s death say heart condition ‘secondary’ to cause of death

”He was a small young man.  His heart showed slight swelling. It was slightly enlarged.  This was a secondary finding.”

Latest update from KSAX about gay high school student Lance Lundsten who passed away from undetermined causes. Details continue to trickle out from this case, and Wednesday afternoon, KSAX quoted Douglas County Medical Examiner, Mark Spandbauer, as saying that the 18-year-old did not die from an enlarged heart. Yesterday, Lundsten’s father allegedly called KSAX to tell them that he had died from a coronary edema.

Previous to that, most reports had alluded to Lundsten committing suicide, possibly due to being bullied at his Minnesota school.
