‘Glee’ creator says gay character, Blaine, is not bisexual

”Blaine is NOT bi. He is gay, and will always be gay. I think it’s very important to young kids that they know this character is one of them.”

Ryan Murphy, co-creator of “Glee,” as quoted by blogger Perez Hilton. Some speculation erupted online that the show’s popular gay character Blaine — played by breakout star Darren Criss — would turn out to be bisexual. (Perez Hilton)

The 24-year-old Criss was recently interviewed by Out magazine, and shared a litte skin with an accompanying photo shoot. As part of that interview, Murphy said this about the relationship between Blaine and the musical-comedy’s other gay character, Kurt:

”I want to treat that relationship like we treat all the other relationships on the show. I want it to be as flawed and as exposed as everyone else’s.”
