Robert Plant and the Band of Joy
Before Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant had formed a short-lived group called the Band of Joy. He’s now revived the name, this time with famed singer-songwriter Patty Griffin, singer-guitarist Buddy Miller (from Plant’s Grammy-winning Raising Sand project with Alison Krauss), plus Darrell Scott, Byron House and Marco Giovino.
