(Re)Discover South Beach’s Delano

For travelers who know Miami’s Delano, they know it has been one of South Beach’s most stylish and decadent hotels for more than half a century. For those who have never been, it is not to be missed.
Built in 1947 and updated throughout the years, the towering art deco Delano is located directly on the beach. Famed (and funky) designer Philippe Starck is responsible for much of the hotel’s current decor that has attracted the likes of Ricky Martin and Madonna.
Through April 30, 2012, guests who make a reservation and pay with any American Express card can receive a complimentary upgrade, daily breakfast for two, and a $100 resort credit to use on any hotel service including dining at the Delano’s new signature restaurant Biana (former Blue Door Fish), serving modern Italian cuisine. To qualify for this special promotion, reservations must be made by March 31; some blackout dates and restrictions may apply.
The Delano is a member of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association.
