Russian man killed in alleged hate crime
“He was raped with beer bottles and had his skull smashed with a stone.”
Natalia Kunitskaya, spokesperson for investigators for the Russian city of Volgograd, on the brutal murder of a 23-year-old man. She confirmed that the attack was believed to be a hate crime. Two men, aged 22 and 27, have been detained; they had been out drinking with the victim earlier. (NDTV)
