“Husbands the Series” has returned for its third season. The original web comedy stars Brad Bell and Sean Hemeon as a pair of famous, gay newlyweds learning how to deal with life in the spotlight. Other actors include Jon Cryer, Joss Whedon, Seth Green, Mekhi Phifer and Alessandra Torresani.
New this season, the series has moved from its YouTube channel to being a part of the CW TV network’s online exclusives.
Actor Sean Hemeon, who once lived in Virginia and was featured as a model in Metro Weekly, spoke recenlty with the Salt Lake Tribune about what it’s like to be gay and an ex-Mormon.
“It’s still tough for gay teenagers. And it can be tougher for kids who grew up in Mormon families. That’s something I know about, too…. My family has been very supportive of me and my career…. Everybody thinks the show is hilarious. Of course, my mother said she had to turn away in the episode when we’re in bed.”
