Facebook implements status editing — about ducking time

church.png (2).jpg

If you’re the sort who regularly mistypes a status and only notices after your entire newsfeed has derided you — hey, we’ve all been there after a couple of martinis — then Facebook has finally provided a solution. Users are reporting that an editing function has been added to the drop-down arrow next to statuses on the News Feed. Click it, and you’ll be able to change any typos or remove any sexual innuendo you just realized your grandmother might read.

Be aware, though, that a new link will appear under your status allowing anyone to see just what you corrected — you can’t fully erase any comical spelling mishaps or misguided rants without deleting the status and starting again. The internet is written in ink, after all.
