Las Vegas hasn’t given up on its budget-friendly shrimp cocktails and steak dinners but it is upping the ante on its culinary appeal. Some of Sin City’s best chefs and sommeliers will be showing off their skills as part of Food & Wine All-Star Weekend, Oct. 4 to 6.
Produced by MGM Resorts and returning for its fourth year, the weekend includes eight official events hosted at by Aria, Bellagio and MGM Grand.
While some of the events such as the kick-off party are sold out, there are still plenty of palate pleasing options including a sushi making demo with sake sampling, a poolside burger challenge, a Syrah tasting lead by a master sommelier, and an Asian-inspired brunch.
A complete schedule and tickets for events are available at mgmresorts.com/foodandwine.
MGM Resorts earned a perfect score on the 2013 Corporate Equality Index, an annual report by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) that ranks major companies for their non-discrimination and benefits practices with respect to LGBT employees. In addition, the Fortune 500 company is a member of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association.
