Wall Street stocks rose quite a bit higher today, perhaps aided by an extra set of high heels.
Drag superstar RuPaul Charles rang the closing bell at the NASDAQ exchange today. His reality competition show, RuPaul’s Drag Race, is about to begin its 6th Season on the Logo TV network.
The NASDAQ closed up 30 points, reportedly at a 14-year high of 4,293, while the DOW was also up 103 points, and the S&P reached a new record of 1,847.

RuPaul thanked his production company, Logo TV “and all the ladyboys and girls who have made our show a hit around the world!“
He also extended his “love to the men and women of Wall Street.” then added, “To all of you out there — to all of you wolves of Wall Street, I have one thing to say: ‘Make it rain! Make it rain! Halleloo!'” as he flung a wad of money into the air.
