Chocolate — Most of us know this already, but you should never feed your pet chocolate, even if you have in the past and they’ve been fine. Chocolate contains theobromine, a toxic substance to dogs and cats that’s more prevalent in dark and unsweetened chocolate, but is present in all varieties. Chocolate can kill your pet, so please – for those still feeding it to them – stop.
