Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has made history as the first PM to march in a pride parade. Trudeau participated in Sunday’s Toronto Pride, where he quickly became the center of everyone’s attention.

Everyone was in love with Trudeau, as he he shook hands with supporters, took selfies, adn otherwise enjoyed the festivities of the parade. He even got squirted by a water gun.
So much love. *sigh* I’m so proud of him! #PrideTO #JustinTrudeau pic.twitter.com/IM6LfVAy5G

As he walked the route, Trudeau was met with loud cheers and applause from the crowd. A longtime supporter of the LGBT community, he also marched last year, before he was elected as Canada’s twenty-third PM.

It helped that Trudeau himself seemed to be having an amazing time at the parade.

And if that wasn’t enough, Trudeau also announced that his government would explore gender-neutral options on identity cards. He said they would look at the “best way” to implement the neutral options, which would allow gender-nonconforming and other individuals to choose something other than male or female.
“That’s part of the great arc of history sweeping towards justice,” Trudeau told Canada’s CP24.
