Disney selling rainbow Mickey ears in Disney World to celebrate Pride
The ears will be available in all the Disney parks in the U.S. this Pride season
Disney Parks has released rainbow Mickey ears just in time for Pride season.
The ears feature two rainbow-striped ears on top of a red hat with blue trim. The front is embroidered with Mickey’s gloves forming the shape of a heart, and the heart is filled with a rainbow.
The ears, which are called “Mickey Mouse Rainbow Love” are an in-park exclusive that is being sold at souvenir shops in all four of the Disney World theme parks, as well as Disneyland.
Disney fans got excited about the ears, many praising the theme park’s LGBTQ representation before the majority of pride festivals are set to begin.

The ears are part of a growing trend of LGBTQ acceptance at Disney. Last year, Disney Channel introduced its first ever gay character in the tween sitcom Andi Mack, whose sexuality and coming out story was explored in the second season.
Walt Disney Co. and Marvel Studios also threatened to halt all film production in Georgia after a bill was brought to the governor that would have allowed people to discriminate against LGBTQ people and same-sex couples under the guise of religious freedom.
