Mix Cracker teases that we should “stay tuned” for the Drag Race reunion

Cracker hasn't yet confronted Asia O'Hara about her "isn't a star" comments

Although choosing the winner of Rupaul’s Drag Race ultimately comes down to RuPaul’s decree, many queens foster strong opinions about what they want to see in America’s Next Drag Superstar.

In the latest episode, the harshest critiques came from the contestants themselves, as each queen was compelled to unleash her inner saboteur and create an evil twin for the runway. Then those evil twins lashed out at the other queens, with Asia O’Hara’s twin North Korea attacking Miz Cracker, declaring that she “isn’t a star.”

It made for dramatic reality TV, and a heartfelt moment, as Cracker wound up in the bottom, lip-syncing for her life against Kameron Michaels. In the end, the self-described “thin, white, and salty” Miz Cracker sashayed away.

As she tells Metro Weekly, she knows she showed heart both in the competition and in her final lip-sync. “You always feel you can give more, but I gave everything I had for that time, in that moment,” she says.

Despite the disappointing finish, Miz Cracker’s efforts throughout the competition paid off with several memorable looks, including the head-turning Saltine-shaped wig that topped her Very Best Drag look in episode two. The New York-based comedy queen says she created the headpiece out of a wig, styrofoam, and “13 hours of careful hairspraying, styling, and blow-drying — held in place with shish kebab skewers.”

Miz Cracker has proven herself to be nothing if not clever and resourceful. She’s also multi-lingual, having learned the African language Wolof years ago for a job at an African art museum. Cracker’s clearly one smart cookie, and multi-faceted.

On the show, she also created a stunning look for another queen, winning an episode that saw her transforming Youtube star Chester See into her drag daughter, Miz Cookie. Asked if she and Cookie have any plans to reunite onstage, Cracker invokes her own drag mother, Drag Race Season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen. “Bob nagged and nagged to get me to get into drag, and I will nag Miz Cookie to get back out there,” she says. “It’s a family tradition.”

Miz Cracker definitely has plans to reunite onstage with her Season 10 sisters, including Asia O’Hara, and Cracker’s eager to discuss O’Hara’s not-a-star comments.

“We have not had a chance to talk about it,” says Cracker, adding, “But the reunion is coming up…so stay tuned.”

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8pm on VH1. The Season 10 Reunion is scheduled for June 21, and the finale airs June 28.
