Killer of transgender claims 3rd bullet was an accident

“[The murdered victim, Mario] was in the wrong place at the wrong time…. He became a victim of that defendant’s machismo and utter disregard for human life…. ‘Hey, baby, you want to come with us?’ Villazano [the shooter] said. How much for you to come with us and do both of us?’ … That defendant then lowers his arm, shoots the third shot and shoots Mario in the back of the head.”

Prosecutor Leah Case, during the trial of Cesar Villazano, who is accused of killing Mario Oscar Mosqueda (a/k/a “Thalia”) outside of a restaurant and gay bar in Daytona Beach. The victim (who was in drag at the time) and a friend were said to be out celebrating a birthday, when the defendant, Villazano, propositioned the victim’s friend. After being put off, Villazano began shooting a gun. Villazano was hit in the back of the head by a third bullet; and the defendant is supposedly going to claim that it was an accident.
