”I can’t talk to you. I am forbidden from talking to the media.”
Former head of New Life Church, Ted Haggard, apparently evading questions from a reporter. Haggard is said to have left a ”restoration program” and returned with his wife to Colorado Springs, a city that is know to be a center of activity for the Evangelical movement. Haggard, who reportedly had a history of expressing anti-homosexual sentiments, was the center of media attention in late 2006 after a male prostitute came forward to say that he’d had sexual relations with Haggard and seen him use methamphetaime; though Haggard only confessed to ”sexual immorality” and purchasing but not using the drug.
