”The emotional impact has changed her life. It is an absolute nightmare for her to have gone through. For 45 minutes, four strangers brutalized her.”
Lt. Mark Gagan of the Police Department of Richmond, California (an area north of San Francisco and Berkeley) speaking about the assault, kidnapping and extensive rape of a lesbian in that area. She was left nude as the men drove off in her car. It’s reported that this is considered a hate-crime because of the fact that she had a rainbow sticker on her car, and that the suspects made certain comments during the assault.
