Electric Zoo: New York’s Electronic Music Festival

Electric Zoo

Most of the biggest-named DJs, including many with gay appeal, will turn New York’s Randall’s Island into something akin to a two-day rave over Labor Day Weekend. Make that three-day rave: After selling out both days last year, the now three-year-old festival Electric Zoo expands to three days, spread out across four stages each bigger than last year. Friday’s highlights include Tiesto, Moby, Serge Devant, Victor Calderone and Martin Solveig. Saturday offers David Guetta, Above & Beyond, John Digweed, ATB, Danny Tenaglia and more. Sunday’s lineup includes Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Diplo, Dubfire, Michael Woods and perhaps most exciting of all, the revived Gabriel & Dresden. All day Friday, Sept. 2, to Sunday, Sept. 4. Randall’s Island Park, between Manhattan and Queens. Tickets start at $119 for a single-day ticket, or $279 for a 3-Day Pass, with VIP packages also available. Visit electriczoofestival.com.
