Similar to discount providers such as Groupon and LivingSocial, OffTo is a new web-based service devoted entirely to providing deals on customized LGBT-friendly travel in the U.S. and abroad.
Launched this week, OffTo promises to provide getaways at an average of 40 to 50 percent below retail value. Recent deals on the site included a four night stay in Cancun for just $159 and five night stay in Orlando with Walt Disney World passes for just $425. Additional taxes and fees as well as some retrictions and requirements do apply in some cases.
It will add new getaway packages regularly. Getaways will include “individual travel” – getaways available for purchase and valid for use for a specific amount of time. For instance, a getaway might be on sale for 14 days and valid for use during the next six months. OffTo will also offer scheduled “event-based” and “group” getaways, which take place on specific dates and for which there are a limited number of packages available first-come, first-serve.
