Hundreds of gay men (and a couple lesbians) made the trek to Southern Delaware’s LGBT-friendly Rehoboth Beach for the July 4th holiday to attend The Boys of 6 Futcher Drive’s annual pool party.
The theme of this year’s party was “All American Circus,” and the Futcher Boy’s delivered by transforming their beautiful backyard pool into a virtual big top.
With suggested donations being collected to support the CAMP Rehoboth gay and lesbian community center, Mike DeFlavia, one of the host and official ringmaster, reported that approximately $8,000 was raised — and that’s not peanuts.
