One of contemporary jazz’s leading figures, gay saxophonist Dave Koz performs Wolf Trap in support of 2010’s Hello Tomorrow. The set includes Koz’s cover of Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s “This Guy’s In Love With You,” re-imagined as a marriage equality anthem featuring Koz on vocals, and a video shot as part of a “love mob” for marriage equality. Koz is joined on tour by gospel icon BeBe Winans, who previously sang on Koz’s 1999 album The Dance and tours in support of patriotic new set America America. The two are expected to perform separately, of course, but also together. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 8 p.m., at The Filene Center at Wolf Trap, 1551 Trap Road, Vienna. Tickets are $25 to $42. Call 877-WOLFTRAP or visit wolftrap.org.
