Chely Wright, the first major country music star to come out as gay, took the Capital Pride Festival stage on Sunday, June 13, to find a cheering and enthusiastic crowd. Before launching into ”Damn Liar,” a song from her new album Lifted Off the Ground, Wright told the crowd a little bit about herself — and got in some quality flirting as well.
