Horoscope

January 26-February 1, 2012

Heavenly Round-Up: You’re more alive to change and the possibility of replacing old habits and crutches with fresh perspectives and active rehabilitation. Oddly, you also find yourself stymied whenever you attempt direct action. Ultimately, now is a good time to plan, to strategize, to develop proactive tactics and to build up reserves so that when you’re good to go, you’re really good to go. As you hustle to and fro, don’t forget to devote some time to developing your ability to express meaningful compassion. ”There, there” won’t do.

Aries: You’re ready to spring into action. Your health is solid. Your heart is in it. Your advice is sound. But there are obstacles between you and your objectives. Most of them have to do with the needs of those around you. Suddenly, you’re nanny to the universe. Be brave.

Taurus: You’ve got what it takes, and you’ve got to get rid of whatever’s holding you back. You don’t have to be in a hurry to change your less-than-contributory ways, but you do have to be sincere as you restructure your life to meet your current needs. Shop by remote.

Gemini: If it were as easy as it seemed when you got started, everyone would already have been there and back again with great success. Will you back off, now that you see the scope of the task at hand? Will you spend more time planning? Will you plow ahead anyway?

Cancer: It’s an ill wind that blows no good. And it’s true this time. What was a problem undergoes a sea change and becomes a special vantage point and even an opportunity. Don’t overlook this obvious reversal because it doesn’t jive with your accepted dogma.

Leo: You’re slowing down just as you most needed to gain momentum. You’re blocked in just as you began to see the glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Happily, the resolution is only delayed and not denied. What part can you play in rehabilitating your timeline?

Virgo: Don’t listen to the threats and suppositions. Not only did you not cause the problem, you may also hold the key to the solution in your unique skill set and experiential parameters. Don’t be afraid to go forward against odds and advice. You’re in the right.

Libra: Systems become institutions. Once they achieve that heightened designation, their primary purpose is self-perpetuation. You may need to instigate an internal culture war. Break down your established routines and revamp your expectations. Yes, you can!

Scorpio: Your people are with you in spirit. Right now, they can’t get away to come and hold your hand. Right now, they’re up their collective ass in snapping alligators. But they really do understand; and they really are on your side through this difficult time. Chin up.

Sagittarius: You gave till it hurt and were told you hadn’t done enough. You bled yourself dry, but haven’t seen any credit for your heroism. You walked through fire for your ideals and found the goal farther away when you reached the other side. Keep going.

Capricorn: You’re on an active course to deepen your self-respect and open your heart to a greater understanding. No, this isn’t about religious conversion. This is more about taking personal responsibility for the world you’ve created for yourself.

Aquarius: Persistence is a good thing. Stubbornness can sustain one indefinitely. Certitude allows one to go forward with confidence. Still, you may find you have a pressing need to re-examine some of your core assumptions. They may not be all that axiomatic.

Pisces: You’ve been around and around with the pros and the cons. The pros give great advice. The cons offer strong support. Are they mutually exclusive? Are all your beliefs set firmly in stone, or do you have some wiggle room? Reassess with a trusted crony.
