— Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, speaking at a debate for Student Pride in London. Black, who was interviewed by this magazine in 2010, addressed the issue of coming out in Hollywood, saying that he believed it was managers and agents who are to blame for keeping some actors closeted. “The studios are on our side, the producers are on our side but we hit the wall with agents and managers,” he said. “They think somehow it is going to hurt their bottom line.”
