The Shakespeare Theatre Company today announced plans for a memorial celebration of Jared Neff, who died March 7 from pneumonia-related complications.
Neff, 30, a Missouri native, worked as the STC bookings manager.
The public memorial is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, at STC’s Lansburgh Theatre, 450 7th St. NW. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the memorial celebration of Neff’s life and passion for musical theater set to begin at 5:30.
In announcing the memorial event, STC included a statement that reads, in part, ”We are deeply saddened and shocked at the unexpected loss of Jared Neff. … Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones. Jared was a valuable and loved member of the Shakespeare Theatre Company staff, with a promising career ahead of him. His love for all things theatre and his immense determination were felt by the entire D.C. theatre community. He is certainly missed by everyone at STC.”
