If you’re going to propose to someone, the City of Love is a pretty great place to do so. The French capital has numerous places perfect for dropping to one knee and popping the question — and that’s exactly what ABC News reporter Gio Benitez did on a recent vacation to Paris.
Benitez, who reports for ABC News, Good Morning America, World News Tonight, 20/20 and Nightline, proposed to boyfriend Tommy DiDario, a blogger, actor and model.
“Today I said yes to my true partner in life, couldn’t be happier to stand next to you forever,” DiDario posted on Instagram. “Celebrating a magical day in the city of love! Much thanks for all the kind words and well wishes!”
Benitez simply posted: “Time is what’s left behind in the wake of love,” alongside a photo of him proposing to DiDario.
