RealSpring 2007, a symposium detailing the dynamics of the local real estate market, was held on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the Carnegie Institution at 16th & P Street NW. The program, which was followed by a lavish luncheon, was co-sponsored by the Metropolis Development Company, Washington, D.C. Economic Partnership, VIDA Fitness, Metro Weekly Magazine, Bank of America, Regional Title, Beers & Cutler, and Ober Kaler.
Speakers included Steve Moore of the Washington, D.C. Economic Partnership, Metropolis Development Company president and founder Scott Pannick, Acting Deputy Mayor Neil Albert and interior designer Anna Simone of Cecconi Simone Inc. ''The event was a success in capturing how technology, lifestyle choices, a strong regional economy, and the evolution of design are interrelated in shaping the District's residential real estate market,'' said John Grimberg, a strategic communications consultant who conceived and produced the symposium on behalf of the presenting sponsors. ''Developers, designers and urban planners are becoming more sophisticated. Design is the differentiator with creativity and innovation the drivers in meeting the expectations of the next wave of buyers.''
